Frequently asked questions
Our school stands out because we not only offer Czech language courses, but also provide a system for clearly planning each student's progress. Here you will find professional methodologists and qualified native-speaking teachers who specialize in teaching foreigners. We conduct regular testing to adapt the learning process to your needs and help you succeed in learning Czech.
I have tried to learn Czech many times in various courses. How does your course differ from other Czech courses?
All of our native-speaking teachers are skilled in teaching methods that allow students, even those with zero knowledge of the language, to learn without needing support in Russian. In addition, teaching materials are selected in such a way as to convey new language material and its meaning as effectively as possible without using Russian. As a rule, by the first lesson, students are able to understand the language task they face at each stage of the lesson. In some cases, when a student is not yet psychologically ready to study exclusively in a foreign language, we offer the services of a bilingual teacher (who is fluent in both the foreign language and Russian) to increase their comfort level.
I speak very little or no Czech. Will I be able to understand a native speaker?
Before starting Czech language lessons, our language school conducts a thorough assessment of the student's level of knowledge. First, we conduct a phone interview to find out about your previous experience studying Czech, your regular communication in a Czech environment, and to identify any possible difficulties. Then, during the first introductory lesson, the teacher assesses the level of spoken language and vocabulary in Czech, both active and passive. This allows us to create a personalized learning program that meets the needs and level of knowledge of each student. This individual approach ensures effective and comfortable learning, contributing to the successful mastery of the Czech language.
How do you determine a student's level of knowledge in order to develop a training program?
If you choose the “Personal” tariff, you can pay at the end of the month based on the number of lessons completed. If you choose a package of 8 or 16 lessons, you pay in advance, before the start of the course. More details here
What is the difference between the “Personal” tariff and lesson packages?
