Our own methodology
Our own materials
The materials were created by our school's methodologists over many years and were specially designed for foreign children to learn Czech from scratch.
Interactivity and learning through play
Preschoolers learn about the world through play, which is why our teaching method is based on a playful approach. The principle of “learning through play” is what keeps children engaged throughout the lesson.
Ergonomics
Teaching preschoolers has its own specifics, as at this age it is difficult for children to concentrate on one thing for a long time and they get tired quickly. Therefore, lessons are adapted to the child's abilities and last 30 minutes, which is a comfortable length of time and contributes to optimal learning.

Developing speech through motor skills and movement
The Total Physical Response (TPR) method actively uses body movements to help children learn new words and phrases. By linking language commands to movements, the brain remembers information better. This method uses several channels of perception: sight, hearing, and motor skills.

Frequently asked questions
All of our teachers are native speakers and are skilled in teaching methods that often allow students, even those with no prior knowledge of the language, to learn without the need for support in English. In addition, teaching materials are selected in such a way as to convey new language material and its meaning as effectively as possible without the use of English. As a rule, by the first lesson, students are able to understand the language task they face at each stage of the lesson. In some cases, when a student is not yet psychologically ready to study exclusively in a foreign language, we offer the services of a bilingual teacher (who is fluent in both the foreign language and English) to increase their comfort level.
My child speaks little or no Czech. Will he/she understand a native speaker?
Restless children are a characteristic of preschool and early school age children. We take into account the age-related physical characteristics of our students and do not conduct classes for preschoolers, and in some cases for restless schoolchildren, lasting longer than 30 minutes. In addition, thanks to the use of the Total Physical Response (TPR) method in combination with interactive tasks that fully engage the student in the lesson, it is possible to achieve good concentration in class even among the most restless children. The teacher knows how to find an approach to preschoolers; empathy and the ability to sense the mood and character of the child and adapt to them are important. The teacher gives tasks that are within the child's capabilities and knows how to interest and hold their attention.
My child has a bad attention span. Will he/she be able to sit still at the computer for the whole lesson?
he number of lessons required to achieve a confident level of Czech necessary for comfortable learning at school and communicating with classmates depends on how long your child has been in a Czech-speaking environment, whether they regularly attend a Czech kindergarten, clubs, etc. The time needed to prepare for school depends precisely on this factor.
The level of children who come to us to study varies greatly, so we conduct testing and interviews, based on which we build an individual program. The recommended duration of study will depend on both the initial level of knowledge and the goals of the study.
How long will it take you to prepare my child for school?
